Smooth Ride for Dimapur, Potholes Repair
After long deliberate discussions the team finally decided to call themselves as Act Of Kindness Movement with “Smooth Ride For Dimapur” as a mission to undertake and repair potholes within the city, this first mission of AOK was welcomed by numerous individuals and institutions resulting in young volunteers flocking from different quarters to take part in the mission “Smooth Ride For Dimapur”.
Magnum Opus, an Art & Music Festival
Magnum Opus, an Art and Music Festival is an annual project of Act Of Kindness Movement. It was first started in 2015.
It is organized to celebrate and commemorate International Artist day which is on the 25th of October every year. It is organized with the view to bring together all the Artist and Art Lovers to come together under one Realm where each of them can interact, grow and learn from each other.
Saving Lives Project
During the Covid 19, with the theme ‘Saving Lives Project’ Act of Kindness Society had distributed protective masks, and other essentials to the most vulnerable groups such as marginalized individuals/families, healthcare workers and security personnel.
Skill Training of Rural Youth (STRY)
A training Programme on Mushroom Cultivation was organized by Integrated Extension Training Centre (IETC), Medziphema: Nagaland in association with State Agricultural Management & Extension Training Institue (SAMETI) & National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (NIAEM) on 14th- 19th December 2020 at SAMETI Training Hall where Act of Kindness Society had mobilized the trainees.
